Now that Season of the Deep, Destiny 2 has ended, it’s time for the next Season of the Witch. Destiny 2 Season of the Witch is the next road to get to The Final Shape which is the next expansion of the game.
The Final Shape is going to be the culmination of 2014’s Destiny 1 ‘Light and Dark’ saga. Destiny 2 game Season of the Deep ends with 2023 Solstice. The next Season of the Witch will continue through winter.
If the last season is to go by, some revelations were already made for Guardians as to what is in store for them. Here are the release dates, story possibilities, start time, and raid on Destiny 2 Season of the Witch.
The Season of the Witch released on 22nd August 2023. This season we learn about what is in store for us in The Final Shape.
The story will continue from where it left in the Season of the Deep. Savathun is clearly the key to following the Witness that will lead players to Travelers. So this season we will be spending more time dealing with Savathun, the Hive and Xivu Arath.
Eris Morn took a new Hive-y form that helps use the Hive magic to our advantage. This new Hive magic includes activities like Savathun’s Spire and Altars of Summoning. While using these modes will be using the Deck of Whispers to expand our power. Veil Containment from previous season will continue providing new lore and stories through this Season of the Witch.
Players can expect to get new exotic weapons from the game’s Exotic Mission Rotator. Players get to unlock Dead Man’s Tale during the Presage mission, attempt Operation: Seraph Shield that will get them Revision Zero that can be customized as their preference and complete Vox Obscura.
Destiny 2 Season of the Witch offers 9 raids. These are:
- Deep Stone Crypt
- Garden of Salvation
- King’s Fall
- Last Wish
- Root of Nightmares
- Vault of Glass
- Vow of the Disciple
