Based on the previous launches, there is a pattern in which Google releases Pixel phones every year where you can see a new lineup. Similarly, in 2023, the lineup has Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, which will be released around October.
Even though there is some time before the Pixel phone releases, there is excitement, assumptions and leaks around it. According to a recent leak, the price of the Google Pixel 8 has increased from its predecessor. Google Pixel 7 was also a tad bit pricier than its predecessor.
Google is maintaining silence regarding the launches, but according to the reports, the price of the Pixel 8 will be $649 or $699 in the US. Yogesh Brar reports that the hike will not cross $100. The device might have 8 GB RAM and 128 and 356 GB storage which justifies the price hike!
According to the leaks, there is also an upgrade in the Pixel 8 from Pixel 7. It has a 6.17-inch full HD+ OLED screen supporting a 120 Hz refresh rate. The GN2 primary camera sensor is 50 MP, with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) features.

Further, there is a 12 MP ultra-wide angle lens. The camera has an 11 MP selfie camera. You can expect a dual-tone approach commonly seen in Pixel phones. The reports from the leak also suggest that there is a temperature sensor below the LED flash.
The device comprises an ultrasonic fingerprint reader instead of the optical one in the previous Pixel phones. Based on the reports confirmed by Brar, the size of the battery system has been bigger such as 4,485 mAh with 12W Qi wireless and 24W Wired.
The phone will be drawing power from Google Tensor G3 SoC, of which the details are yet to be confirmed. Before the release of the two Pixel phone devices, there is also a probability of Android 14 being launched in August. It is being assumed based on the history of Google launches and releases.
