Roblox may have millions of fans all around the world, and yet they have never featured on Play Station. That is until now. The uber-popular game is going to make its debut on PS4 and PS5 after about five years since appearing on XBox. If you are excited to have your own game or play any of the other user-generated versions, here are the details of the launch.
The best part is that the wait won’t be too long as Roblox is set to release on October 10 on PlayStation. It will be available at 6 pm BST for all those fans residing in the UK.
Roblox is entirely free and can be simply downloaded to play, but it also features an in-game currency known as Robux, which can be used to upgrade avatars and pay for added features inside the game.
The developers have explained, “Roblox is a global platform where millions of people gather together every day to imagine, create, and share experiences with each other in immersive, user-generated 3D worlds.”
Further adding, “The types of gameplay on Roblox are just as limitless as the imagination of the creators themselves. All the online games you see on the platform have been built by members of the Roblox community for members of the Roblox community. Players can build the ultimate theme park, compete as a professional race car driver, star in a fashion show, become a superhero, or simply design a dream home and hang out with friends.”
The story behind the game is not anyone in particular. In fact, the stories depend on the scenarios, modes, and ages of the characters players create. This allows the user to access several different stories to experience each in its own distinct manner. Players can also create their own stories if they can.
