As gamers are highly anticipating the release of Valorant Episode 7, Riot has announced that there will be major changes. These are going to be related to the progression system for the title, including updated daily prizes, agent gear, agent recruitment activities, accessory store, and many other things.
Preeti Khanolkar, lead producer of Riot, took to their YouTube to explain all the changes that will be there in the upcoming episode. She advises to “grind out those Agent contracts before June 27th.”
According to Khanolkar, the Daily Rewards will be more lucrative than ever, whether you play Escalation, Premier, Competitive, TDMs, or unrated matches. These daily rewards will now also provide Kingdom Credits, a “new free currency” that allows players to access free in-game content, in addition to XP.
Preeti Khanolkar referred to an “agent recruitment event” that involved agent contacts. These are “free event passes” that will instantly activate a new agent on the day of release. Players will actually be able to use Kingdom Credits and Valorant points, or VP, to unlock new agents. Players must wait until the recruitment event is over to use Kingdom Credits, though.
Apart from these, there are many other changes that are made related to the accessory store and agent gear. You can now choose where you want to spend the currency that you have earned while playing the game.
If you have missed an item that you had really wanted, you can now spend your “Kingdon Credits in the Accessory Store” in order to acquire “past Battlepass Accessories.” Valorant players might just need to check these Accessories often as these accessories will refresh every week.
On June 27th, Riot Games will release episode 7 along with all these brand-new updates to the game. Therefore, players must finish their agent contracts by the aforementioned date in order to take advantage of these benefits.
