Asus ROG Ally is all set to be launched on 13 June. This handheld gaming PC has been on the much awaited list of gamers and tech lovers alike. And like all other gaming laptops, this one is sure to knock your minds! The AMD Zen4 gadget is a direct competitor to Valve’s Steam Deck and offers a powerful bundle for mobile gaming.
The 7-inch IPS LCD screen on the ROG Ally features FHD resolution, a 16:9 aspect ratio, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel’s maximum brightness is 500 nits, and Gorilla Glass Victus shields it from damage. According to Asus, this console has a 7ms response time and complete sRGB color space coverage.
ROG Ally is 608 grams in weight and has an aluminum chassis. The actual size of the item is 280 x 111 x 21.2mm. With an upgraded version of Asus Armoury Crate installed on top, it runs full-featured Windows 11 Home.

With each ROG Ally purchase, you receive a three-month trial of Xbox Game Pass and are allowed to use it. You can also use any other significant game launcher or game streaming provider to run games. This can also answer your questions about what to choose between PC gaming and laptop gaming.
More Details
The ROG Ally really comes into its own when it comes to gaming performance. You know you’re doing something right when you can play Cyberpunk 2077 at 1080p with an average frame rate of 37 without a discrete GPU. That was done using AMD’s FSR and medium settings, which are often where the Z1 Extreme APU performs at its finest. And it appeared fantastic.
The first in the new generation of portable gaming PCs is the Asus ROG Ally. The only genuine complaint I have is with the battery life, which is almost perfect. The same was true with the first Steam Deck. It’s not nearly throwaway money like the lesser Decks almost are, but Asus has played it very carefully by keeping the price far below $1,000; it may well redefine the market for low-cost gaming.
