Indian Government To Un-ban BGMI – To Be Available On Play Store Soon

You have heard it right – BGMI is returning again! The government of India has finally decided to lift ban on the game temporarily for a period of three months. This will essentially be more of a testing for BGMI in India as the game would be under strict monitoring and analysis during this three-month period. Also, the government has stated, if the application is found to violate any of the country’s rules, then it might get banned again.

Battlegrounds Mobile India famously referred to as BGMI is essentially the Indian version of PUBG Mobile, which is made exclusively for the players in India. It is an online multiplayer game that has been both published and developed by Krafton.

BGMI is also set to come back with more adjustments and changes as well. There are rumours that suggest, the game will be put under scrutiny and will also have a time limit and restriction on the number of hours one would be able to play a game.

Additionally, it has also been planned that the colour of the blood would have to be changed. The government has strictly said that the gore/violent factor of the game has to be lessened for it to be available for downloading on the Play Store again.

"We strongly encourage our users to prioritise their well-being and follow responsible gaming practices. We are committed to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for our players and believe by promoting responsible gaming, we can contribute to a healthier gaming culture, where players can enjoy themselves while still taking care of their overall well-being"
said the Head Government Affairs of Krafton India. However, there has been no announcement regarding the timeline on when the game will be available for download on the Play Store and App Store.
